Meet the Team
At Unity Retreats, our team is more than facilitators – we are space holders, creative guides and compassionate listeners. Each of us brings a unique blend of lived experience, professional expertise and soulful intention to the retreats we co-create.

Claudia
Co-Founder & Retreat Curator
Claudia brings a wealth of experience from the people professions, having worked extensively in HR, Health & Safety and wellbeing.
As a member of the Singing for Health Network and a Natural Voice Network Leader, she is passionate about crafting inclusive, beautiful experiences that invite rest, expression and reconnection. Through Unity Retreats, she weaves together art, movement and vocal work—creating spaces where participants can rest, reconnect and explore their voices in supportive, inspiring ways. Her retreats embody her belief in the power of creativity to nurture resilience, joy and community.

Clare
Co-Founder and Retreat Curator
Clare Turner is a passionate visual artist and creative facilitator. As the founder of Paisley Art Clare has cultivated a vibrant, inclusive art community that welcomes people of all experience levels to explore creativity in a supportive environment.
Since launching Paisley Art in 2016, Clare has led a wide range of workshops – from expressive collage and watercolour classes to community-led projects like Peterborough Royalty, which celebrated everyday heroes through alternative portraiture and storytelling. Her teaching style is warm, accessible and rooted in the belief that everyone can make meaningful art, regardless of background or skill level.
Guest Facilitators
We collaborate with a rotating circle of artists, yoga teachers, musicians and movement practitioners – each chosen for their warmth, accessibility and ability to meet participants where they are. From soulful singing to expressive painting, our facilitators guide with care and creativity.

Sarah Bell
Sarah is a soulful song leader and founder of Wa Wa Women, a community singing initiative rooted in connection, wellbeing and joy. Her circles invite women to gather in harmony – no auditions, no sheet music, just voices raised together in affirmation and ease.
What to expect with Sarah:
• Gentle, inclusive singing taught by ear
• Songs that soothe, uplift and empower
• A safe space to breathe, belong and be heard
• Deep listening, laughter and lightness
Sarah’s sessions are inspired by her own journey of reclaiming voice as a tool for healing. Whether indoors or under open skies, her circles are woven with compassion, creativity and a deep respect for each woman’s story.
